    Damn good news on Black, he has the tools to play and get a good job in the NFL next year. But a year without being overshadowed by Big Herms reputation will help him get more attention and possible All-American status to move him up in next years draft.

    I expected Dickson to play again. He really needs a year with a quarterback that can get him the ball. Jefferson appears to look for his tight end and that will help Dickson's draft position quite a bit. He's a quick TE with good hands. A year with some outstanding blocking will raise his status, too.

    Way too many good TEs on the board already (Gresham, Pettigrew, Coffman, Beckum)...Dickson was smart to stay.

    Ciron's decision makes me very happy but also surprises me.

    In the newspaper today there is a story saying Black is rethinking whether he will stay or not. It claimed Scott, Lafell and Black were the only ones that tested the NFL waters and Lafell and Scott are staying.

    I think improved QB play next season will be good for all receiver types staying with LSU for their Sr. season. I am happy to look forward to 09, :geaux:

    Well if we keep RJF, Scott, Lafell, Black and Dickson, this will be a great year coming up in 09. Could be special.

    Ricky Jean is the only one who will go.

    The others will most likely stay.

    LaFell is the most ready of them all, but he knows a year with a QB would help him a ton.

    Considering that he was 3rd in the SEC in receiving with no QB, I'd have to say his prospects for '09 look promising.
