They've got two weeks to come up with a game plan/strategy to give Joe time to throw the ball. I just looked. The Rams have opened as a 4 point favorite.
Just read a comment from a Bengal fan that the only reason they drafted Shelvin was to carry Burrow off the field on his shoulders. LOL
O did the most important part of his job. He went and got people to help his team succeed. He found a stud QB (that nobody else wanted) and brought him to LSU. Then, he poached a brilliant offensive mind from the Saints. Remember, Burrow started every game in 2018 and he was.....fine. There could be all sorts of reasons that Brady failed in the NFL. But he designed the 2019 offense that shattered records, and deserves a ton of credit. https://www.bannersociety.com/2019/12/6/20902790/joe-burrow-lsu-2019-season
i wish joe wouldn't have said that about him having too much money to have fake diamonds. that just rubbed me the wrong way.
This thing about Brady failing is at best, a reach by Minger justifiers. Guy was hired by a first time NFL HC to call plays for one of the worst teams in the NFL with little to no talent and a mismanaged roster. That same HC will also be out of a job either before next season starts or the end. Brady's only real fault was jumping at the first big gig he was offered and not waiting for a better team. Cant say I blame him since it was a hell of a payday and "you miss 100% of the shots you dont take."
I stated that wrong. I wasn't diminishing the contributions O, Brady, Aranda, and Ensminger and the rest of the team. The point I was trying to make is you could take any one of those out of the equation and LSU is still 15 - 0; as long as Burrow is QB. But the exact same team with a different QB - I doubt it's undefeated.
Just goes to showing how important the QB is. Acknowledging that Brennan is no Joe Burrow, IF he can stay healthy he will be one of the top QBs in the SEC and our offense should do its part be to keep us competative.
