:geaux::crystal::helmet: Well said.:thumb: See DB's and LB's.:dis: We would obviously take Richardson but I really don't thinks it'll happen. If we just end up with Pratt and Ford, I'll be happy with that. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
I have been saying for some time now that Miles needs to go ahead and make him an offer. It is clear TR is Bama-bound. It is time for Miles to stop holding his breath for Richardson and make an offer to Michael least we loose both.
Agree completely. RB position may not be as much of a "need" for us now, as others point out, but you can't have too many excellent players who "want" to be here. I mean, what is wrong with having MFord, DPratt, and CMichael? ABroussard popped his knee, CCollins wigged out, HWilliams was never as good as billed - these are just a few examples of how you just never know what the future holds or how things pan out. My feeling is that you should bring in as many excellent players as you can, particularly ones who make it clear they want to be a Tiger! Of course, you need to balance this with needs, but RB is such a volatile position.
Seems to me Miles has the same thoughts on CM that many top programs have about CM. CM is waiting for offers from many top programs around the country and he is not getting them. We do not see him bringing something to the table that we do not already have in Ford and Pratt. So it is TR who brings another dimension to the table or nothing because we do not need another RB.
Bhelm brings up a great point about the other schools. It isn't just LSU that's not impressed with Michael. He can't seem to garner any big offers, even as he stays as highly ranked as he is.
I wonder which ones are commitable. Nebraska and A&M. Beyond that, I wouldn't be so sure. If I were him, I would go to A&M and help turn that program around. They have a solid head coach.
