If we take another RB, this is the guy we would want...He just looks the part, tough, strong, fast. He's going to be really special, has that Richard Murphy style running.
I really like Michael, but we've stopped recruiting him. Some people still think Lacy will be the 3rd back in this class, but I just don't see it. Its Richardson, Pryor, or nobody, IMO - unless another prospect that fits the mold we're looking for comes up.
Still not recruiting him hard but LSU is still in his top 3. LSU, Texas, and A&M. He said wants to stay close to home.
The good news for you is that it appears very unlikely he will be a Tiger. Not that he isn't good, but we got our two in Pratt and Ford, and we'll only take another if it's a "we can't pass him up" kind of guy. Richardson was one of those. Pryor is one as well. Lacy may eventually get that slot if his academics and off-field issues are cleared up, but it appears Christine Michael's ship sailed when Pratt committed.
Still think we get Richardson or we are done at RB but Christine list LSU in his top 3 still along with Texas who just offered, and A&M. He will be at the last day of camp and stay for a few days after. (Sun-Wen) Anything could happen but with him not participating in the camp I do not expect it to right now because it seems the coaches have backed off contact with him some over the last few months.
Michael really impressed at a camp in Florida over the weekend and will be pushing to be a 5 star in the next ranking update by Rivals. He'll be at LSU's camp, so if he can show there what he showed in Florida he may get a committable offer. I've said all along that I'm very very high on Michael, but I just don't think he brings anything different to the table over Pratt & Ford. I still think that, but considering he appears to be LSU's if we want him, he may be too talented to pass up.
