so signing him gives us 23 so we only have 2 spots for either greg gilmore, kendell beckwith, tim williams, and ricky seals-jones all these guys are top 100 players and if we dont sign em then either bama or A&M is gonna get them so..... idk what to think about signing lacoture 3 star no.19 d end when we already have a few good d lineman on board for 2013
Don't read into stars. I don't even know what star rating he has on other sites. This is a guy LSU wanted during the summer before he committed to Nebraska and we stayed on him. Very good pickup. We have more than 2 spots left. Hearing 1-3 of the committed guys have some work to do school wise and may not be in this class plus we can count some back with the deflections in the last class.
He is a 3 star on most sites I have looked at. He runs a 4.8, I don't know what Sam's time is, but seems a little slow for what we usually get at defensive end. Are they thinking of converting him to a defensive tackle?
