Guy on Finebaum said Peterson turned down the initial offer but the AD wouldn't take no for an answer. Apparently they have been friends for 25 years. At around 4:00 he said they were close to a deal but it was still 50/50.
i cant imagine MSU with a prolific offense. Im not sure i ever remember them having one. not even with that chris rock dude at qb. i guess john bond or whatever who ran the option that everyone still talks about is the first and last one. also, its going to be very hard for MSU to offer more than what they did at 9 mill 4 years. if peterson didnt like that theres not much else they can do.
