Sucked the most? Dinardo had 7 total wins in his last two seasons, the entire team sucked ass. You remember the secondary play but not Hookfin?
Hookfin, having a pass caught on you in blown coverage or being burned as a DB is called being Hookfinned.
Those two, yeah; but the two before, not hardly. Those were 9-2 and 9-3 seasons. We put up some pretty good numbers in those years offensively. Scored TWICE as many TD's as our opponents and averaged over 200 yards rushing per game in both- 1997 we averaged 257. And I could be wrong about the secondary being the weak link but seems like I remember yelling at tv about coverage a lot.
You're going to have to rank consistently in the Top 10 recruiting if you want to piss with the tall dogs in the SEC I'm afraid.
He will. Washington , Oregon and Idaho isn't exactly fertile ground for recruits. And you're battling Oregon and Oregon State for those same recruits.
I like Chris Petersen as a coach and think he's definitely one of the better coaches out there. I'm just not sure he'd come to LSU. I think Jimbo is our homerun hire. He knows the lay of the land here and is a proven, top-notch head coach. I feel like Jimbo is a much safer choice for us. Herman has a little bit of a risk to him, for me. Only 2 years at a mid-major. But I really like what he's done. Coach O has a TON of experience, and he may also be a great choice for us. But I'd definitely kick the tires on Patterson at TCU, Peterson at Wash, and several others. There should be a TON of interest in our HC position.
Think Saban lost 5 or more games in 4 of his 5 seasons at Mich State . Then he lost 6 or 7 games first season at Bama. Just because a coach lose 6 games first year or 2 doesn't mean he isn't elite. As the case above.
