I think Washington is pretty legit but maybe not quite there yet. I don't think I've seen him smile (haven't paid close attention, but looks like a pretty serious dude).
That's not exactly accurate. While Dinardo signed some very nice classes he took a TON of risks answer lost more to ineligibility than any coach I've ever seen. Don't look at just the recruiting class rankings, look at the number of scholarship players on the roster when Saban came aboard. It was an insanely low number. As much as I hate Saban he did do some building here. He wasn't however nearly the coach he is now. But give him credit, he works hard and improves.
Wasn't looking at recruiting class rankings; rather, All Americans and players that went on to play in NFL. Believe me, it was FULL of talent. Bradie James, Josh Reed, Rohan Davey, Domanick Davis, Trev Faulk, Jarvis Green, Demetrius Hookfin, LaBrfandon Toefield.
no, I did post stuff on Petersen about a week ago saying he was the only one I preferred over Herman.
You prefer Petersen over Herman? Was that pre-Stanford? If so, kudos. I was always a fan of what was going on in Boise, but the first guy failing at Colorado slowed my roll a little. BTW, I still prefer Herman to Petersen, though a season could change that. The ass whippin he put on Stanford was impressive, but Stanford also looked pretty fugly.
Isl is probably the only person wanting Petersen way before the statue of liberty play even before Boise beat ou then the proposal thingy. Thing is he forgets about him once the 6 losses set in annually. Now hes viable again. It's a fluid situation.
it was posted on Sept 26 (the reaching out to herman and briles thread) the Stanford game was Sept 30
