2014 37th 2015 27th 2016 29th The total number of blue chip 5 star recruits on this current Husky team? Zero. Just as he did at Boise State, he gets the most out of his talent. Isn't that the hallmark of a truly great coach? Pay the man 7 million a year and let him reign over LSU for the next 25 years.
I'm down for that. Just out of curiosity what's Utah's recruiting classes look like. Wittingham seems to get a lot out of his players as well.
Slow down. I think he's a good coach. However, wins against Rutgers, Idaho, Portland St, Arizona (almost lost), Stanford (for lots of reasons), and now a beat up and not very good Duck squad does not make him the savior. The Pac12 sucks balls this year.
With the way he gets the most out of his players, I think he could keep LSU at the 10-11 wins-a-year mark, and have us competing for SEC and National Championships a lot more frequently then Miles did.
I like him as a coach, but not sure about our coach. Not sure he's ready for the Deep South. He'd be on my list and so would Herman. And even though I don't love Fisher, he'd be on the list too. Hell, he may have been contacted, which could explain why he's off his game (which would be a red flag, btw).
Your daddy wasn't always the best, either. 2001 4-7 2002 8-5 2003 9-4 2004 7-5 And 2 bowl losses. Where do we go from here?
He gets the most out of his players for one or two big games a year. It's not like playing an SEC schedule. I'm not impressed with his wins this year either, bunch of no bodies. However I do think he is a good coach and should be a legit candidate if he would consider leaving the left coast. Herman still my #1 choice.
No elite team could get Petersen to even consider a move from Boise St for the longest. Kept telling the football world how much he enjoyed Idaho. This Washington gig was a little surprising, but he has always been thought of as a west coast guy and if he left Boise it made sense it would be in the great northwest. After watching the WS vs Stanford game, pretty sure Washington hasn't played anyone yet. Unfortunately, looking at the Pac 12, not sure there's anyone he should fear.
I didn't realize Miles was winning SEC Championships at Ok St. But, I guess you have a wiki for that too.
