The guy has been really impressive. He looks to have all the tools to be a good back when he has the ball, but how is his pass protection? I was too busy ball watching to pay attention to it.
I listened to part of an interview with Drew Brees today who is very high on Ivory. If the TD pass was the play Brees was talking about, he said someone was supposed to be out at the line of scrimage blocking for him but despite nobody being out there, Ivory still made the first guy miss and the rest in history. Can't be a bad thing for Ivory if Brees is pulling for him.
If you play fantasy football and you need a RB....go get Chris Ivory now while you can. If Reggie's injury is as bad as I'm thinking it may be....Chris Ivory's number is about to get called.
Look for the Saints to possibly pick up Betts for a week or 2, but that depends on Ivory. We will find out on Wednesday when we practice if Ivory is at least limited or hopefully fully practices.
