Regardless of what he is now at 17 or will be at 20, his film is fairly impressive and he does fulfill our current needs for diversity at qb. He definitely looks bigger than normal for his age and his release is actually very quick. I did notice a tendency to hold the ball a bit long, but that's not the same thing. His range seemed exceptional and accuracy is a relative thing in high school. He probably is not throwing to receivers the same caliber as he will have here. He also looked mobile at times but preferred to let his arm do the talking. It will be nice if we can bring in both of these guys in the new year. Add to that, it should give us reason to hear the cow bells even louder than last year.:yelwink2:
Well there ya go, a distant relative who graduated over 10 years earlier. That will reel em in every time. :hihi:
Condon interviewing Garrett: http://a1135.g.akamai.net/f/1135/18...27/podcast/BATONROUGE-LA/WSKR-AM/07693622.mp3 Says he is 110% committed to LSU
On playing at the same time in the game along with Shepard: “It would be great to get into the game at quarterback and let Shepard line up at receiver for a play,” Garrett said. “I could see that being a call that goes for six."
" This Is The Story" Something about Garrett worries me.... Isn't he from Tupelo, Something "Suspicion" about this. He May be leading us on a "Night Rider" "Mystery Train" down to "Heartbreak Hotel". Or Maybe he had "Memories" of MS being "So Close Yet So Far" & decided "Going Home" wasn't the thing to do.. Getting "Love Letters" From LSU saying "I Want You With Me" and deciding to "Reconsider Baby" and be a "Tiger Man". To Mississippi State I would say "So Close Yet So Far", "How Can You Lose What You Never Had" Elvis Lives - Over & Out....
