After hearing so many players drop LSU to go to other schools, Someone who wants to be here is a welcome sight.
I think Garrett and Miles handled his departure with class. Not every kid who comes here is going to work out. He did not bad mouth the school or the staff. He found another school that ran an offense that fit his style where he could play right away. If he is good he will get is shot at a combine. IF he stays out of trouble i bet he gets drafted.
Kid may find himself with a scholarship sooner rather than later - may have been a very good move on his part.
absolutely. if the kid works hard and wants to be at lsu so much he was willing to walk on, i would rather him have it than someone who isnt willing to put in the effort asked and doesnt care where they play.
I hear he's so good he has the potential to make a second-rate minor college coach look primed for a head coaching gig with a major SEC football power.
I actually am close to two northwestern st players Zach Case OT and Dane Daigle Running back ( true freshmen this year) I played football with both of them at central catholic in morgan city, so i will talk to them see what they think about him.
Pics of Garrett at NSU practice... look how fat he got: A fresh start: Neck injury gets Garrett off to slow start at NSU | thetowntalk.com | The Town Talk Quarterback Chris Garrett throws Tuesday at the Northwestern State practice as offensive coordinator Todd Cooley and freshman quarterback Don Canyon (10) look on.
Yep and I think we all know what Miles was talking about now. I saw him right before the summer and I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought he was Lorenzen for a second.
He looks like he has gained weight, in a bad way. If that is the case I can see the claims that were made about him actually being true.
