Anyone care to project the starting lineups on both sides of the ball next year? Where's istsl when you need him?
Hawkins at LT, Collins LG, Porter C, Turner RG, Alexander at RT unless Pocic can come in beat him out. Pocic is much faster than Alexander.
So we are going to start a raw LT with a qb who can't feel the blitz on his visable side until he is picking himself up off the carpet, much less the blind side.... Yay
Les just might split time at QB with a mobile guy. However, Im not really worried, they will figure it out on the line. We have the talent.
This is of course more bad news, but I am going to hold my opinion of what may or may not happen next season til it gets closer. Got to believe the want or need of money is pushing alot of this.
This is a very informative read that makes some good points about the defections. Some of you have probably already read it. http://www.andthevalleyshook.com/2013/1/8/3853096/players-leaving-players-leaving-players-leaving
I tend to agree. Alexander is talented, too, but it takes playing time to learn all the moves and stunts you can see in the SEC. It's why freshmen rarely start on the O-line . . . it takes brains and brawn. Even if Pocic can play and start, he's going get his freshman ass whipped a few times too. That's how you learn.
Can't help but think Faulk needs to prove his injury is healed to NFL................IMO, could be big mistake vs waiting a year.
Maybe he's worried about how well his rehabilitation will translate to actually playing and wants to get paid while he can? Worrying about a Ciron Black circumstance is a valid concern.
