Dad loved his visit to LSU on Pro Day. Would not be surprised to see Chris commit at the Spring Game. He's a lock. Just WHEN he commits is the only question.
I have a theory that he wants his mom to be present based on a few articles I read over the last month. He wanted his mon and dad on board before committing and his dad came to LSU and loved it. He planned to bring his mom to the Spring game and she had to change plans for some reason. If she was at the game, I think he might have given his verbal then. Other than that he might just want to live up the recruiting process like many of these athletes do.
Liven it up or just plain take advantage of what your skills have earned. CLM makes it pretty clear that any and all trips should be taken prior to committing. If Davenport wants to take a few then why not especially since he's clearly going to end up at LSU. Of course he could announce tomorrow.
