If I were to throw Obama in to this argument it would be to demonstrate that one can get away with abuse of executive power by pleading ignorance of the actions done by his staff. So why would this situation be different? I agree with you that this will blow over like other's issues in recent memory. This is just the news cycle of the day.
I'm quite aware of what this thread is about. My point was based on your comment about a guy who abused his power in the govs office, but yet there's a guy in the WH that abuses his powers on a daily basis, that many here defend again on a daily basis.
