What I meant was parity in the SEC and how many SEC teams get the nod for a national seed. Top 15 is littered in SEC teams with the ACC in the balance. Take away the few in the little 12 and likely 1 more SEC or ACC team will get the nod than normal. The SEC tourney is gonna hold more weight than usual as well. A lot of SEC teams in the mix are gonna have to sweep this week to remain put. There will definitely be some shift before Sunday.
LSU moves up from 11 to 8 in the latest baseball america polls. A series win over Florida and they probably move up to 5, 6 or 7th. A series sweep and they are certainly in the top 5, maybe even top 3.
top 3? Boy if I didnt know better Id ask for some of that good shit of yours. odds we finish even top 8 +3300
So where do you suspect we end up in the polls if we sweep the #1 team in the nation and tie for the SEC's best record?
We just need to not get swept and it will be a success. The rally possums magic only goes so far. Florida has a better pitching staff than the twins.
After Lange i have no confidence in our staff. Gotta win Friday or there's a good chance we get swept.
We need to focus on small ball and base runners. Our biggest strength is stealing bases. Sending pop ups to the warning track is gonna get us nowhere. Numbers on the twins hitting has suffered lately for bombs to the glove. Gaps please.
