You mean Miles got the media suckered. However, you can tell from the way he answers the media that the lines were carefully thought out, no matter how milesistic it may seem:milesmic:
Yes! Awhile ago I made an analogy between CLM & Colombo--you did not want to underestimate either of them--if you did, it was at your peril. Watch CLM at news conferences; he plays with the newsies, knows what he is about. Heck, he should be able to have some fun with those fools, right?
Kelly wishes he could coach in the SEC. It's unbelievable how people can say that Miles is lucky. His record speaks for itself, & if you want to attribute that to the pedigree of players we've had under him, then that makes him a great recruiter also. Who cares how badly he may confuse some people. It's Miles! It's also incredible to me that a lot of LSU fans still to this day want him gone! Some people will never be satisfied.
Its obvious he thinks before he speaks. I think quite a few people who are frequently questioned by the media could learn a thing or two about thinking before they speak. Maybe they need the HAT to give them a few pointers.:miles:
It is an act. He talks differently to the media than he does his players. ...ever heard him do a victory speech or a halftime speech to the team? His messages are clear and concise. Believe that.
this. with the media, he is answering without saying anything. i think that is part of it. he answers in such twisted ways, that everyone is trying to figure out what he said, not even looking at he didnt answer the question. it's the miles version of coach speak. with his team he is speaking to them openly and honestly from the heart, imo. that is why the message is not convoluted.
14-0 Arkansas. Then 14 play 77 yard TD drive by LSU. Then defense forces 3 and out, followed by a 92 yard punt return for TD. Then LSU forces fumble, followed by a 5 play, 66 yard TD drive. Yes something crazy did happen. Oh yes, the Tigers are lucky Chip.
