Not once have the Bears given any credit to the Saints this week. Urlacher, when asked if the Saints two RB are the best they will face this year, said the Bears have two great ones he faces in practice everyday, so its nothing new. Lovie Smith, when asked about the Saints no.1 offense, said they have some scholarship players on their team too. Now Im not saying the Bears should "crown" us and pay homage, but show a little respect. And when Lovie and BU responded, they sounded as if they were pissed off that they were even asked the question. Plus sexy Rexy added his two cents by saying " we are a very well coached team with some unbelievable playmakers, probably the greatest of all-time, on defense". Sounds to me as if Da Bears have already "crowned" themselves. I like that Payton, on the other hand, has taken a totally different approach. He's given all the credit in the world to the Bears this week. Kinda like Belicheck and the Pats did last week to the Chargers. I hope we have the same result. Again....Saints 31 Cubs 17
I hate to be the "negative nancy"... But I just have a feeling that having #22 in the defensive backfield is finally gonna catch up with the Saints... last week's game would have been an easy one for the Saints if they had a better corner opposite McKenzie (who isnt an all-pro either)... Freddie needs to hang up the cleats..
I agree that the Saints need to be looking for a corner in the draft or free agency, but Wrecks Grossman isn't one that'll be likely to expose this problem area. Da bears have a great defense, but their corners are their weak points, too. Only difference, we have a QB and some WR's that can do something about it.:thumb:
Come on now. Can't expect anything less. Just reading what they said and I actually laughed...They couldn't have been more neutral and non- committal about laying a beatdown like I'm sure they think they will... If those words get you riled up about getting respect, I cannot imagine what Saban's supposed comments are doing to you...
HOW DARE THE BEARS NOT RESPECT THE SAINTS! THEY SHOULD COMMAND RESPECT! You have to RESPECT them, and if you don't, well, you should, because it's all about RESPECT! COME ON ARETHA! SING IT!!!

I made the comment to my uncle during the playoff game against Philly that: "Saints aren't going to win a Super Bowl with a corner like Fred Thomas"
Well, if the Saints can get past Chicago, I think Fred Thomas would be okay against New England. Manning/Harrison would tear him apart, though.
Don't get me wrong, Im not riled up. I like the fact that DA BEARS have already made plans for Miami. I want them to look past us. I just hope they refundable tickets. As far as that other coach you mentioned, I could give two-sh!ts what that ahole is saying. He and Bama deserve each other.
