I remember him, probably just because we are about the same age and were in school at the same time. From what I remember, he was pretty average. I guess he came back better than ever after Tommy John surgery.

I didn't find out til this past season when a couple of my LSU baseball friends kept on talking about him. I was shocked that such a crazy guy went through LSU without anyone really knowing about it. I love his humor though, he's a great actor for being able to keep a straight face through some of the hilarious stuff he says. Sports needs guys like this...
Me and all my buddies are pretty big baseball fans, and it seems like everybody likes him, not having known where he went to school. Even my girlfriend likes him, and she's not really a baseball fan.
I remember finding out he was a former Tiger last year when the Giants won the World Series.... In June when I went to see the Cards play the Giants I took two pictures, one of Theriot making a play from deep in the hole at SS and the other of Brian Wilson warming up in the bullpen....
