SportsNation Polls - SportsNation - ESPN

    JJ Above Avg QB = 48 %
    JJ Average QB = 44 %

    Les Miles Great Coach = 68 %
    Les Mile Good Coach = 27 %

Which is better, 2011 LSU Defense or 2010 Cam Newton led Auburn Offense?
    LSU Defense = 87 % :hihi:

What BCS matchup you want to see?

    LSU/Okie State = 37 %
    LSU/Bama = 34 %
    LSU/Stanford = 14 %
    LSU/Houston = 12 % (surprising a little)
    LSU/VTech = 2 %

    Go vote.

First thing that I checked, but it's more states than I'd thought. Most of the east, and a few sprinkled here and there.

But I was more interested in which states thought Les Miles was only a "very good" coach as opposed to a "great" one.

Alabama (Bama internet has a firewall prohibiting praise of Les Miles)
Arkansas (They're in a dark place right now)
Idaho (Calling anyone else great is perceived as a slight against Petersen)
Utah (Mormon? Don't get this one)

Voted and yes, I voted against the gumps. I want them to earn a spot in the NCG not sit back and watch.

Stupid question: Is it possible to lose the NC game and come out on top in the final BCS poll?

No, but that d'bag Daniels did mention the possiblity of an AP title. nice, huh? A split title. Something tells me that if OSU beats OU, enough voters will move to send OSU to the BCSNCG.

Three coaches did not vote LSU #1 in 2003 after we beat OU. They voted for USC, instead.

So there is precedence for bucking the BCS.

It could happen if everybody starts getting a 2nd loss on their resume.

    But not likely to happen.

Lou Holtz I believe was one of the coaches that did not vote for LSU when we beat OU.

But weren't those dudes in violation of the BCS rules? IIRC, they are supposed to vote for the winner of the game. I know, not everyone is going to go with that program if they don't feel like it, but most will.
