What's even more hilarious (or arrogant depending on your point of view) is that he would cheat against Mangini; someone who used to work for him and probably helped him cheat in the past. Why cheat against someone who knows you cheat and will be looking for it?

    KA-BOOM!

1/2 mil fine to the homelessly dressed coach, 1/4 mil fine to the team and lose first round draft pick next year if the Pats make the playoffs.

    just WOW!

250 for the team isn't anything.

$500K for Belicheat is a chunk of change, my man.

The draft pick hurts a bit. Not as much as I would have liked to have seen. I was thinking maybe their 2008 draft, and all odd numbered picks for the next 15 years. Oh well.

wondering...if thehoodie felt the need to cheat week 1 against the jets, knowing mangenius is astute of all his evil ways, obviously this is has been happening for some time.

I wonder if all teams do this and mangenius brought it to the league's attn because of the way he was treated upon his exit?

i guess none of us common folk know one way or the other but it would seem this isnt a one-team deal. you always see the fat dudes shielding the signal guys.

not sure, but id hate to hate thehoodie for doing what everyone else is doing but im starting to really lose respect for him since im not sure otherwise.
the cleaning out of mangenius' locker and non-acknowledgement of him along with his arrogance is starting to wear thin.

certainly does and even moreso with his alimony checks.

I can almost assure you the Texans haven't been stealing anybody's signs. :hihi:

I almost doubt that other teams have used electronic means, since the entire league is about as paranoid as it gets. I think the teams would pick up on that (like they did repeatedly with the video AND shorting out headsets.)

The worst thing about this is the Patriots' typical arrogance about being smarter than everyone else. It's fine to put yourself on that pedestal, but the fall is just as great.

I knew it was looking like something unprecedented was coming down, ie: the draft pick, but a 500K fine against Belichick is SERIOUS money. Has there ever been a fine that big in the NFL? I cant remember anything even close to that.

This Commish is kicking some major league azz.
