well it's cheating because the commissioner told every team they weren't allowed to do this. They could solve the problem by simply allowing defensive players to have a communication device similar to what QBs have. That way there are no need sending in the plays with smoke signals, morse code, or those silly flags they use on ships.
well some teams have been accused of jamming those radio signals. well one team anyhow. i forgot what game it was. ravens and pats maybe? was it the pats again? moris code and david allen cole?

Isn"t it ironic that when Saban beat the Pats last year,21-0, rumor was He had stolen their signals...And I do think the Pats will have to pony up at least a couple of 1st day draft picks.
This is getting ugly. I thought this would blow over with a hand slap but I dont think so now. I see a big penalty coming down on the Pats. Something thats never happened before like a draft pick. Cant see more than one though.
Once the league determines the extent of the cheating, two things need to possibly occur. If past cheating is proven, then take away victories including playoff wins. If current cheating exists, penalize the Pats by forfeiting last week's win and taking away future draft picks...including first rounders. If the cheating is egregious, then take away their entire 2008 draft and forbid them from making any trades or signing "restricted" free agents. Remember the time the field crew cleared the snow so the Pats could kick the game-winning FG? How about the time when Brady fumbled the ball and the ref overturned the call with the lame tuck rule. "The QB did not intend to fumble the ball, therefore it's not a fumble." What BS! This sounds so typical of a team from that area. Politicians from that area have been cheating the country for years. I like the fact that they have a lot of Tigers on their team but cheating is cheating and shouldn't be tolerated at all!
New rule. The coach has to wear a suit for at least one game this season (No chit.) Punishment: Fine him. I would say forfeit if the game was close. I don't think it is that big of a deal.
Draft picks and dont let Homeless boy be on sidelines for a couple of games. I think that would solve the problem.
