I thought you were saying Bowden replaced a winning coach. Jimbo replacing Bowden is not the same. As Stacey pointed out Bowden was 80 and had been sliding for almost a decade. Everyone knew it was time. Beside Jimbo was prehired as coach in waiting...not the same as having to go out an look for a coach after firing one like the fire Les now crowd is advocating.
