Then they should be making lots of plays. I don't see it. Do you?? Inexperience is fine, but why can't we get pressure on the passer without blitzing?? That has nothing to do with experience. That's being better than the guy in front of you. The '11 team had a bunch of young guys too, but they were physically superior.

They weren't getting much pressure against Kent St. or TCU.

Chavis didn't forget how to coach over the offseason. If they are young and talented, they should be getting better. Do you think they are getting better??

Our dline is not our talent. Freak makes 1 play each half. He's overrated. Ego is by himself.
Hunter will be unblockable in time.

With zero pressure from the front the young dudes in the back can't develop. They are lost as f. I also wish the announcers would quit saying jalen Mills is our best cover guy.

That's correct. It started at Tennessee. I have had alot of my friends bring up the fact that Chavis couldn't really get it done versus LSU, Florida, or Alabama, while he was in Knoxville. I still believe there is a difference between now and then.

1st: Ole Miss has less talent on D and held a better O (LSU)
    2nd: They lost more starters
3rd: Since when did you have to be a 4*+ to tackle?

Too many DBs guarding nobody but space. Mix in more man-to-man coverage allowing more blitzing. Also, a math class on where to anticipate pass-to-be-thrown on 3rd-and-long.

Still remember sitting in North endzone with my dad when they closed the stadium in 50s with Al Dogget at QB.

Chavis has a huge flaw on 3rd downs and closing games. It is not debatable.
