We probably blitzed on all of those plays when the TE was wide open! :)

I was joking, but at the same time man, and I'm just being honest, it appears that you and lsu-i-like, and a few others have to throw in a negative for everything involving the coaches. Don't get me wrong, you guys aren't bad dudes, and you are positive with all the players (save welter which is warranted for the most part even though he prob is a good kid and would be better in a different league) it just gets old when everything the staff does good is ignored, and the shit that just defaults to them is magnified and parroted over and over and over.

I mean what was the biggest complaint about LSU's D over the past 2 seasons? Couldn't hold a lead in the final minutes/seconds, going into a 2 deep zone and not attacking. Chavis sent Dwayne Thomas on 4 straight blitzes from both sides and LSU finished a close game. That was an exciting game and LSU could have folded but they didn't.

I understand the frustration at times but seriously what does that get you? Is you being furious all the time because LSU doesn't blow people out and make stupid mistakes going to change that fact? No it's not.

I love LSU like you guys do, I wanna see them win every game, and when we lose I'll be critical to an extent, but I'm not gonna be the guy that focuses on all the bad stuff in a Win, because that's what matters. Shit happens, Chavis isn't all of the sudden a terrible coach because Freak jumped offside 4 times, or because Welter is slow, or because Loston is out of position, or Barrow missed a tackle. 8 players to the NFL, and this D still had really good moments this season. The problem with this season was 3 things..... We didn't create turnovers, and when the Defense made stops this year, the offense sputtered, and when the offense was on fire, the defense didn't make stops.

I understand you homie, and im just shooting you straight, but when people here post something positive about this coaching staff or team it would be nice to not get quoted with a negative retort especially after a win which was fucking awesome.

Anyway, no hard feelings, just speaking to you from my haze.

Man I started a thread giving props to Chavis last week. Along with Miles. You cut me deep LaSalle.

In any case, I only road Miles and staff hard this year because outside of 2011 we are so sloppy. It just get escelated when there are two sides on this site.

Shoot dude, I was dancing in my living room when Jennings threw that TD.

I'm sure you were and I'm not trying to defame you or anything, hell I thought the thread was sarcastic so maybe I need to work on my context clues.

I thought the point I made about Dwayne Thomas on the last possession was extremely valid and in a win it seemed to me and I'm sure others that you were only pointing out the bad. If you feel differently hey you know you better than I do, so didn't try to offend.

No worries. Chavis has done a 180 on the play calling the last few games and in a good way. Much if our problems, in my opinion, are a lack of consistency in the Dline.

However when it mattered we got the job done.
