There is no guarantee that we could. Certainly no one proven better with a better record. We could always luck out with an up-and-comer, like we did with Saban and Miles, but for each one of them there is also a Stovall, Archer, Hallman, and Dinardo.

I think its funny that a single loss brings out so many Chicken Littles who are convinced that some "downspiral" has started and that Les is "destined" to not continue winning.

Again, I have never stated a down-spiral. It is your feeble attempt to win a made-up debate in your head. IF I have said it, prove it. Otherwise, stop being a jackass anytime someone mentions a fault of Miles.

What I and others have done is start a conversation on Mile's weaknesses and how they proceed from year to year.

Sure there are coaches proven better. Furthermore, I seem to remember a great many of people say that "Saban didn't make LSU, LSU made Saban"

If that is true, then LSU made Miles and LSU will make the next coach.

Regardless, LSU is now prime time and it started in the early 2000's. It was elevated to a new level. If LSU's AD's are worth their salt, LSU would have ZERO trouble getting a perfect fit when the time comes.

But it does ultimately fall on him as head coach. He has to recognize the same issues that we all see which is that Chavis soft read and react defense is losing ballgames. Les can certainly tell Chavis he wants more pressure.

This defense isn't stopping drives. At least if you bring pressure you have the chance of stopping the drive or forcing a turnover from pressure. If they score, they score quicker which gives our offense the ball and allows us more time to score.

And guess what . . . people are disagreeing with you. Get used to it. You can complain about whatever you wish, but I am free to disagree! If you can't handle it, that's tough. I attack your message, not you. Calling people who disagree with you jackasses just tells everyone something that you don't intend.

I cannot disagree at all with your philosophy. We might as well try to have the ball in our hands as often as possible. I'd rather be aggressive and get burned from time to time than watch teams dink and dunk and chew up clock going downfield on us--espcially at the ends of halves.

You don't just disagree with people. You degrade them with large words in your own cute way.

    It's just how you are.

Most people will say, "I disagree" or offer another alternative. You, well, you attack their intelligence.

It amazes me how many football fans honestly believe that they understand the game better than the men that have dedicated their lives to coaching, excelled at every level of football and are now being paid MILLIONS of dollars to do so. If you guys are the much better at offensive and defensive scheming why are you wasting your talents on a message board? Why aren't you cashing in on the talents you have been blessed with?

To quote you, that is a "made-up debate."

That would be good except for experts saying the same things about our coaches blunders.

Again, get in line. No one asked to fire him.

What amazes me is how some of them are paid so many millions while I sit on my couch so grossly underpaid.
