But lets pump the brakes in fear of the "fire Miles chants" and a return to the dark ages!

I like Jimbo also. Think Jimbo would come back to LSU?

True. I first met Jimbo when he was at Auburn, he was working with a few of my friends. Good guy, I told people he would do well. Too good of a guy and coach.

Jimbo is one of those I talk about when I say, coaches that think about family first. Great guy on and off the field.

Dont doubt it for a second. I'd love to see him coach the tigers. I think it will take too much cheese to get him away from fsu is my point.

Remember, Jimbo had a chance to leave before Miles got the job. Miami offered a bunch of money for him to move. He stayed with Les. Once again thinking about his family.

There is more to Les Miles than meets the eye. He is clearly successful, he attracts well-respected coaches to his staff, and he is a formidable recruiter. He has been good for LSU football and he deserves support.

However, he has a high-profile and very public position, and criticism always comes with such circumstances. I don't mind that people criticize some of the things he does - I do it often myself. At the same time, he makes LSU a national brand and we are among the most interesting teams in the nation in large part because of him.

Les made a great hire with Cameron and it worked wonders for the offense. I think Chavis needs some criticism for the job he's done with this year's defense. I just don't believe it should be laid off on what he doesn't have because of the NFL draft - I want him to apply his knowledge and experience in a way that gets this defense with these players back to respectability.

This year our defense sucks, and that ain't on Les.
