Might be that way in theory, but the Saints are porous underneath and their secondary was exposed as recently as Monday. The theory goes that "defense wins championships." The Saints will have problems against play-off teams. They are nowhere near the defensive juggernaut they were when they won the Super Bowl. Last I looked, LSU and Alabama have dominant defenses, and they are championship teams.Of course, since Chavis's forte is with the LB's, they might well use his coaching to solve their weak point. But don't worry. The owner will never spend the money it would take to lure Chavis away.

I just didn't hear anything about Greg Williams leaving the saints. I thought I missed something. He's pretty respected around the league for his defensive blitzing schemes. At least that's how the announcers calling the game make it sound. I didn't think he saints were looking to replace him.
