No, it doesn't make anyone an idiot. Were all fans of LSU football, and want the best for the program. I just find it odd that a Defensive Coordinator would choose to compliment the offense of the team he is joining, if he weren't indeed frustrated with the one he was leaving. Think about it, did Cam come in and say, "hey it's great to join such a strong defense as LSU"? If Chavis wanted to comment about A&M, I would think he would say "I think I can come in and make a difference in the defense to help it match the offense". Or something to that effect. I don't know, maybe it's not odd, and maybe it's just face value, like you say?
Well you apparently think I am asleep. Why else would I need to "Wake Up"? I've seen may posts by you asserting that anyone that defends Miles is "cluless". In other words, anyone that does not agree with your conclusions are "clueless". "Clueless", "idiot", "asleep"...aren't you just splitting hairs here, Brett? I think you would do a great service to yourself (and this discussion forum you own) by being a bit less bombastic and antagonistic to people who differ with your conclusions and assessments. The comments by Diane Chavis in Kleinpeter the Tool's pander piece appear to be legit. I'll take the word of a man's wife of 30+ years when she says that Kleinpeter's "source" doesn't know what he's talking about and that John Chavis' "issues were contractual nothing more or nothing less". Conjecture is not evidence. Its simply conjecture. If I say I like shrimp, it doesn't mean I am denigrating steak. It just means I like shrimp. If Chavis says he admires A&M's offense, it doesn't mean he is denigrating LSU's.
So just to be clear, you like things the way they are? Les has it all under control right @Herb is that what I'm getting? No attack, not baiting you just want to know where you stand on our offense.
Hell No I'm not happy with our offense. I want to see us kick Bama's ass up and down the field and score at will against any opponent. I want to see our defense consistently force opponents into 3 and outs in the 4th quarter instead of going into prevent mode and letting them drive down field for the go-ahead score. I disagree with the constant mantra that "as long as Miles is here, we can never be a good team". I'm not an apologist in the least. Trust me when I tell you that this past season was the hardest overall season in recent memory for me. I just don't think we need to risk throwing the baby out with the bath water.
Here is my thing, we have seen this over and over. It may get better, but not much better. I don't see why it is so hard to believe or consider that Chavis may have had enough of the under performance on the other side of the ball. If you feel that way, imagine how frustrating it had to have been for him. Defense gives them the ball inside the bama 10 late in the game. 3 phucking points. Chavis should be applauded for his perseverance for making it this long. That's all
Now that chit is funny. Sad thing is that the baby's safe because no one looks like they can throw him.
I do applaud Chavis. I can consider the hypothesis that Chavis may have had enough of "carrying the team". It's just not a "fact" that this is how he felt.
