1. Great point. Not many. You are certainly right about that! Still, I understand him wanting to fight it.

  2. I agree. That certainly is not the way to develop a warm and trusting relationship. Still, he is feeling screwed over. My original comment was just about the f-bombs towards Chavis, and I am just trying to point out that there is another side to that.
  3. I would suggest he wear a heavy duty raincoat. I think he's urinating into a 65 mph headwind.

  4. You would plead not guilty even though you did the crime in the hope that your sentence would be reduced through plea bargaining.
  5. Well obviously he didn't sue them out of the blue. This was a strategy. Chavis was going to eventually be sued anyway so he tried to get the jump to keep it in Texas. I assure you a&m knew about the suit before it was filed.

  6. My thoughts exactly. The only reason aTm is included is to justify Texas filing.
  7. Witness: Sumlin's pool boy

Evidence: Sumlin's pool boy's tweets and tape of the Music City Bowl.

Chavis quit LSU before the damn bowl game and owes LSU $400k.

And now we got us a season- ending rivalry game brewing.

  8. To be a rivalry, I think they need to win a game...

    LSU vs a&m 4-0?

  9. He read it and I'm sure his son read it and I'm sure aTm attorneys read. That's why he gave his 30 day notice, so as to take his employment at LSU past the buyout date. And that is why aTm didn't officially announce his hiring until the buyout date had passed. Only problem is he was recruiting for A & M in early January wearing A & M geat and traveling on their jet.

  10. Exactly. Just because you don't say you quit, doesn't mean you didn't quit. They're angling for a settlement. I hope we ride them into the ground. In the end, they can pay our attorney's fees too.
