OK, thanks. That's what I thought. A lot of speculation and inaccurate data. And let me be clear. Chavis is going to A&M. But it's not official until he tells Les and/or Alleva that he's leaving and signs the contract with A&M.
Calm down. Its just business. Do you love your place of employment so much that you wouldn't leave for a better deal if your boss lowballed you on his offer?
It's a pretty credible source though. Again the part I'm interested in is him being pissed at a 4 hour practice and saying "shit's gotta change". Did Dupree say the exact same thing?
Totally different. It might be business to him but it's personal to me. I am a Tiger fan. When it comes to being a Tiger fan you are either in or you are out imo. Actually, he wasn't low balled he just didn't like the clause about Miles staying or going, which if you ask me, is petty and probably not the real reason that he is leaving. On top of that, there are not 102,000 people who show up at my furniture stores on Saturdays in the Fall to watch me run my business....but it would be really cool if they did.
While the Music City bowl might be a lower tier bowl, it isn't meaningless. It's extra practice time, it's a showcase for recruits, and it's money for the school. I don't care what bowl game you're in, whether it's the Indy bowl or the NC... you play the mutha fucker to win, after all you've been giving a $100K in free tuition and shit to be there. If you want to be in a better bowl then play better and win the games you're supposed to. Getting blanked by the fuckin inbred rkansas pigs isn't a statement for deserving a better bowl.
