I think the Eagles knew exactly what they were doing, he was going to be cut and for good reason.

Not at all, just call it like it is. The kid plays hard but lacks RB skills. That's life. I was surprised he got drafted.
The Eagles were going to cut him and not even sign him to the practice squad, I would say they think the same thing as I do. Not everyone was built to be a pro RB.

 

His RB skills = Get ball -- See opposing player -- Run over opposing player -- head for the end zone.

Nothing wrong with those skills sir.

 

Sorry running over NFL players is not the same as running over a Tulane LB. It doesn't happen often.

Which is why he was moved to FB by the Eagles after they saw his skills or lack of skills. Maybe he can make it as a blocking FB, as far as RB skills... sorry it's not going to happen.. you have to avoid in the NFL until you get to the second level. Scott has really no power until he gets to the second level anyway, seen plenty of times last year where one player stopped him on the line solo. Now when he builds up speed and say there is a huge hole, sure he has power, but in the NFL that doesn't happen often.
