5-11, 223...He will be a bruiser. Small school competition though. Will be interesting to see how he develops. Could become a fullback if he keeps growing.
Yep, seems like both Scott & Murphy have been forgotten with of all of the KW talk. Scott had a ton of offers, big schools OU, USC, SEC schools etc. I was concerned he might consider going elsewhere. Glad he's headed to LSU! :crystal:
and Jerome Bettis was a speed demon? Before you say it--I KNOW. I know Scott isn't as big-bodied as Bettis is/was...but when you can "lower the boom" and run straight ahead for 5 yards a pop...who CARES if you're 0.10 of a second slower than most running backs. After a defense has to keep getting up from taking head-on collisions with Scott, Murphy will jitter-bug and bolt around the end for those 20+ yard runs that everyone loves to see....
