My thoughts exactly. I thought he should have had more than 16 carries(but who could argue with any playcalling with the phenomenal 2nd half we had against AUB). He is the type of back that will wear down the defense with more touches, as he seems to be stronger in the 4th QTR than the defensive players. Murphy will be the best change of pace back, to me, more than KW. KW has potential, but, unfortunately for him, he is just not as good, or is not working as hard, as CS. Definitely, if CS has this type of game consistently against SEC talent, his name will begin to be mentioned for Heisman. Real prize, though, is CS carrying us to NC!
He had 21 against Auburn. 6.1 ypc average. Against any team, that's damn strong. Against Auburn, that's unheard of.
Yeah, thanks for the correction. It was mentioned earlier that he had 16 carries, so I was going by that, but then I saw the SEC player of the week thread and saw 21. That is an excellent number of carries for him, esp. against Auburn, as you said. I think he deserves 20+ carries every game, unless something drastically changes in his production.
