As an AD what would you be thinking now that you are the embarrassment of College football? It reflects badly on him too.
Hell of an idea...Demote Crowton if you can't fire him or buy him out and let Billy G call the plays since Urban Meyer wouldn't. He can't be any worse. Give him the "interim OC" tag until we do something with the "Offensive Genius."
Yes, Mark was brutal, but honest. I have never seen anything like the personal attack on Crowton by a commentator, but I agree that it is well deserved. Even Granny agreed. In a sort of a damp way. I wonder what the next letter from Aleva will be about? Holy cow. That tirade will end up on you tube.:geaux:
The worst part of all this is who will want to play at LSU after the same debacle two years in a row. Offensive guys will run away like they stole something. Very bad publicity for recruiting.
Our "Fans" make it worse. If there wasn't such unrest, the media wouldn't be quite as vocal about it and that is the truth. What other 5-0 team has to get weekly abuse from Sportscenter?
Look guys I know you aren't football rookies. I'm sure everybody here watches plenty week in week out. The bottom line is our university is being represented in a poor light on the most visible stage in college sports. What we witnessed today was an embarrassment. I would call it the same if it happenned to Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Auburn.... What hurts even more was that it was not the first time and we were promised before that "It would not happen again". Miles has shown an inability to keep up with the pace of the game in stressful situations. Call it "deer in headlights" or whatever you want. I believe most true football fans understand that Miles is the problem at LSU. He is the limiting factor on an otherwise fantastic football team. The kids are playing there hearts out which makes it extra painful for me to watch. Such talent, such determination, no leadership. Stop dfending Miles because were 5-0. THE KIDS DESERVE THE RECORD not the coaches (Except Chavis). They are winning in spite of the coaches. One of our most talented teams is being let down by our overpaid coaches. All of college football laughed at us today. I don't take that lightly.
