Yep, I get the feeling though JD Moore is gonna be a game time decision depending on how he looks throughout the week. He kind of eluded to the fact that none would practice today. Who is the bigger loss, White or Moore? You would think White right? But Moore is kind of a big deal. Fuck just let Pocic play fullback.
both are huge losses but i think Moore is a bigger loss... his blocks aren't just him getting in the way of the defender, he usually punishes them as well... in the game against the gators (i think), he knocked the guy's wind out with his block... by the end of the game, that's two people the d doesn't want to see coming through the hole...
I just hope they get away from going to line, then getting something new in. I don't think a lot of our guys can either hear it or process the change. Just line up and play ball.
If I am not mistaken, I thought I read/heard that Moore's injury was to the PCL? If that is the case, it usually takes more than 3 weeks to recover from that, even if it was a strain. When a player blows a PCL it usually is the end of their career. I agree, if he is not 100% I would bet he does not play
It was reported as a PCL, but didn't say if it was a strain or a partial tear. Either way that is soon.
Just saw this come across the wire... http://sports.yahoo.com/news/no-4-lsu-no-7-alabama-meet-high-222556477--ncaaf.html "NOTES: The bye week gave both teams a chance to heal injured players. Miles said he expects cornerback Tre'Davious White (knee), defensive tackle Christian LaCouture (foot) and fullback J.D. Moore (knee) to return. Moore has missed the past two games while White and LaCouture missed one game." One can only hope.
Yep. Moore's return was way too soon. Basically a non contact re injury where his knee collapsed on him. I HOPE it is not too serious, but I would expect surgery and a fairly extensive recovery, if it is indeed a PCL. I hope this does not end his career at LSU
LSU should be running something more modern, like this.. One or two back pistol allows you to run your power game, gives your RB more time with the ball to pick a hole, and puts your QB in a 1-3 step drop and more time to find receivers downfield.... but this is a "modern offense".
