And that average would put him at # 100 for rushing average. Not spectacular, certainly, but very respectable, and certainly can be a potent weapon.
Take away the sacks I assume, I'm just getting this shit off LSUsports.net It's weird because it says he has been sacked 8 times for 67 yards but he has lost 86 yards. So subtract 86 from 222 and there's your 3.3.
Losing that fullback plays into it. Mouton cannot do what Moore did. I do expect to see more read option with spread receivers instead of a fullback.
When Mouton committed to LSU, I said on here that he sounded like a FB vs a TE. That has played out to be true. What has surprised me is that David Ducre has not been the #1 option at FB since Moore's injury. Ducre was an early enrollee, has both the size and speed to be a very viable FB (whether blocking or running the ball). Any insight on why he has not played more this season? He was a recruit that I mentally had envisioned as turning heads this season with his combination of size and speed.
we may actually hand one off to Dural this week on a jet sweep. I don't think they have given him one in since the Auburn game? He's too good with the ball in his hands to be just a decoy.
The ability Harris has as a runner on broken down plays, as well as on third down when the WR's are well covered is huge. I think we will see some designed QB runs and read options to give Bama something else to think about. Miles always adds nice wrinkles for Bama. He always does a great job preparing the team for the game, just loses it at the end. Hopefully this week is different.
I could not disagree with that. Guice is a human pinball in a good way, but I do not recall him running the "decoy" on the jet sweep yet this year, but they run Dural in it a bunch, but don't give him the ball much. I do recall Fournette and Guice being in the backfield at the same time several times this season. Certainly a wrinkle teams would have to contend with, if they had some plays for either out of that particular set
