Chad Jones

Does anyone know if he's playing baseball this year ? Hadn't heard anything. Also, I've seen alot of discussion about about moving him to OLB. Any idea if the coaches see that and if they even will give him a look at that position? I'll hang up and listen.

 

Ive heard he is no longer playing baseball...the outfield got full fast and it was too hard for him playing both sports. Said he would concentrate on football.

I also find this odd though as baseball was his passion and he wanted to play MLB really bad....almost skipped college to do so....dunno

 

Yes we were all worried he would get drafted high enough and then never show up on campus. I know CPM sent him back to football spring training last year. Didn't know if he as going to try and play again this year. Somebody has to have the story.

 

all I know is CPM listed the starting OF this year as Mitchell, Landry, and Dean. dont even think he made the 2 deep chart. also thought I heard CJ had turned in his cleats at LSU....dunno

I heard CPM wasn't going to let his players do two sports anymore. But obviously mitchell is still there..
