I found this on the USC board......Chad Jones has eliminated USC. http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/lsu/featured/5383371.html
Joe Mcknight said in an interview last week that the trip to Southern Cal and back to LSU wore him out.
Its called money, they pay their coach 32 million, I'm sure they have a few for some recruits.:dis: They will be on probation in 5 years again!
Chad Jones down to three Jones has reportedly trimmed his list to LSU, Florida, and Florida State, according to the Times-Picayune. He ruled out USC and said Wednesday that he won't be taking anymore official visits. Awesome, he cut out Bama and and USC. USC had me a little worried and Bama/NS really wanted him. Looks like our big three will be Tigers next year. Deonte Thompson makes a cut According to the Times-Picayune, Thompson is no longer considering the LSU Tigers. The ESPN 150 prospect's top schools appear to be USC, Ohio State, Florida, and Miami-FL. Noel Devine narrows list Devine, who will attend postgraduate Milford Academy (N.Y.) if he doesn't academically qualify, is now only considering two collegiate programs; Florida State and West Virginia, according the Tallahassee Democrat. FSU head man Bobby Bowden paid Devine an in-home visit Wednesday night and the explosive running back is expected to travel to Morgantown (W.V.) this weekend. I expected these two but Bama had high hopes for Devine. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/briefingroom
Weve got to hope not, but only in a greedy way for us. He is obviously an outstanding athelete who would fill an immediate need, but, from what I understand he has so much potential at safety, he should make a better football player than baseball; which says alot considering he might go in the first three rounds in the MLB draft. Either way I wish the best for this kid, but I really hope he chooses football. Man that would be nice toLose an absolute stud like Landry just to replace him with another absolute stud who could also start for four years.
Nah, there is a possibility, but I fully expect that if he signs with LSU - he'll be playing for us next year. Of course, that doesn't mean we won't be nervous all the way up to the first day of classes to be sure.
Rivals reports that Chad Jones has made his decision where he will play his college ball. As expected though he will wait until wednesday to announce officially when he signs. Hopefully he will be a Tiger. Im pretty confident he will be.
