No, he does that so opposing coaches don't know what to game plan for, specifically but my comment was in jest.
Actually, I heard him mention the cheap shot thing in an interview before. But, the gameplan reason is true too.
Well, like others i feel like we may never see Chad play football again..maybe coaching...any chance he might get to pitch somewhere/...It's a shame...he might have been great at the next level....hope that whatever happens he has a
Personally, I think it is waaayyy too early to say either way. I get the sentiments shared here based on the extent of injury, but many athletes have come back from serious injuries when others have thought they would not. A month after Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with stage IV testicular cancer with brain involvement, many said it would be career ending, and you know what he went on to do after that. Same with Greg Lemond, who had shrapnel in his leg and threatened vascular system to the lower part of his leg (like CJ), and came back to win the TdF. There are examples both ways. The immediate threats to the lower leg have apparently been dealt with, so that is encouraging. Sounds like he has more surgery ahead, then a long rehab. We are easily a year away from hearing what his function and ability to come back will be. Anything between now and then is speculation and conjecture.
Very true, any guess at his possible future is just that, speculation. Very much like Miles' comment of him going to be able to play in the future, but what else could Miles say, he has to be as supportive as possible. It is one of his guys, one that has the potential to have a very bright future.
