Chad Jones injured in car accident

Details surrounding Chad Jones accident remain murky | NOLA.com

No one knows what happened in the accident. The two other passengers were asleep and Chad doesn't remember the accident until later. they don't believe alcohol or drugs was involved.

It looks to me like he fell asleep at the wheel. This could have happened to me many times.

Is he expected to make a full recovery or is his career somewhat up in the air until further notice?

 

I think it's the latter. In fact, I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt he plays again.

Oddly enough, when asked about that, Miles said he though Chad would eventually play. I don't know the extent of the injury, but it seems to me that it's one that would be difficult to come back from.

Don't want to make lite of Chad's tragedy but you do know how Miles is tight-lipped about injuries?

 

He does that to protect our players from getting cheap shots. Everyone knows where his injury was; so I don't think he is withholding information.
