Kirsten Pittman the #23 DE http://cfn.scout.com/2/750982.html DT's, Al Woods at #3, Tyson Jackson at #6 (although noted as a DE), RJF at #8, Marlon Favorite at #19. http://cfn.scout.com/2/750983.html Beckwith the #5 ILB http://cfn.scout.com/2/750987.html Curtis Taylor the #12 FS http://cfn.scout.com/2/750992.html Perrilloux the #23 QB http://cfn.scout.com/2/750962.html Keiland Williams the #18 RB http://cfn.scout.com/2/750964.html Demetrius Byrd the #5 WR, with LaFell at #12 http://cfn.scout.com/2/750965.html Ciron Black the #3 OT http://cfn.scout.com/2/750977.html Herman Johnson the #2 OG http://cfn.scout.com/2/750979.html Brett Helms the #17 Center http://cfn.scout.com/2/750980.html LSU had no players on the following position lists: Outside LB, P/K, CB, SS, TE (no Dickson). Thoughts?
The DT ranking is obviously the worst one. Al Woods will not even be a starter for us next year - much less a top 10 pick like I've seen him being projected. He will return for his senior year, and only then will he become a top pick. RJF will be the #1 DT taken if goes out early. He's just as scar an athlete as Verhnon Gohlston (sp), but will have consistent production & is much more versatile. No Charles Alexander? He should be in the top 12 somewhere. I don't see Favorite getting drafted. Why is Tyson Jackson in the DT rankings & Kirsten Pittman should be higher than #23 in DE's - although I would say probably correctly outside the top 10.
Im surprised they have Brian Robieski before Byrd:huh: Pat White before Lafell on the receivers list?
