That is the best way I have seen this put yet, I have been searching for the right words and that is it. I will say with a bit of SEC homer-ism that Florida and Auburn are way better than their ranking. Both have only lost to Georgia and LSU. I concede this is the same quality loss logic Alabama uses, but it does logically make sense except when you are talking about comparing to the team you lost too.
Right and when it’s all said and done, it looks like AU will have a win over the PAC 12 champ who is likely to get in.
Of course I don’t know, they don’t seem to publish anything, secondly... they really are ncaa stats that they are interpreting and not an algorithm pitting teams against each other. If they bet on games via those ncaa stats, you get slaughtered early in the year and at the end of the year.
