The difference is that Cecil was not on the designated kill list. If the dentist had killed one of the lions the gamekeepers had told him he could kill, even if he had killed it in the same manner he killed Cecil he would have probably gotten away with it or even if he had been caught we would have never heard about it. Would have been too minor a story to make such a splash. You can shoot ducks but you are only allowed to shoot a certain number of mallards, a certain number of pintails, a certain number of wood ducke and a certain total number in the aggregate. Go over the limit and get caught and you get fined but we never hear about it. Shoot beloved cartoon character Daffy and it causes a national furor. I'm against abortion. So are you and lots of other people. It's been discussed in this forum before. It goes on every day 365. Nothing any of us say on this forum is going to change that or change anybody's mind who has an opposite opinion. Cecil the Lion is the current hot story. By next week few of us will even think of Cecil. Abortions will still be going on. There is nothing I can do about that and there is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Lots of other bad things that I don't like are happening 24/7-365 too. Many of them have been discussed here too. They still happen. All of us are bombarded with almost too much information to process every waking hour. Unless you drop everything, quit your job and devote your like to becoming some kind of activist there is nothing we can do about any of those things. Even if you become an activist are you going to be a multi tasking activist and fight everything you are against? All we can do is vote for candidates who are convincing enough liars that be believe the might do something. Which they won't. The next big story will be here soon. Abortion is a really touchy subject. Honestly I don't know how I feel about it. One one hand I don't agree with it, on the other I don't think it's any of my business. What about pregnancy prevention, birth control and such? Planned Parenthood does a lot of things like that too, is there a better way to stop abortion other than preventing pregnancy in the first place?
Education. Abortions are so easy, people just dont give a shit anymore and just have it vacuumed out.
Planned Parenthood does that too. It's not just this evil thing that promotes abortion like some would like people to believe.
Never said it was, but if you watch those videos, that mindset is the general mindset of that organization. Like I said, Obama Care covers all the shit they offer. No reason for them.
