I'd be mad too. The guy calls Hill a "Rotten human being"? Like get off your fucking high horse douche.

I will state this clear, I can give two shits if Hill plays for LSU. RB is the LEAST of MY concern, however nothing this kid has done warrants a trashing like that nor does Les Miles. To even be in the same sentence as Urban is bullshit.

This is ridiculous. Les has been tougher than most other coaches in the SEC. He parted ways with the best player in the nation 2 years ago. He released RP. Suspended Jefferson before the season started. I mean come on.

I'm in no way a Doyel fan. I think he is a half cocked, marginal writer who writes for effect and hides behind his computer. That said, some of what he is saying is true. CLM is in tough spot. He is paid to win but not win at all costs although making 4.3 million can make a guy bend more than he would normally. He also is trying to help these guys become solid young men at this stage of their lives. Most of that should have been done at home but we all realize the home situations for alot of these kids was not good.

It's a tough one but I'd say CLM should kick this kid off the team for all of 2013. If he truly has learned from his mistakes then he will take his punishment and get ready for 2013.

I think he was a little rough on Miles, but regarding Hill he has not said anything I have not said. LSU should have never recruited Hill after he pled to Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile (normally a felony offense). I said at the time Hill is another Cecil Collins. Another Ryan Perrilloux. In the end he will give the LSU football program and the school another black eye which it does not need.

$5 says that Doyle is a UF alum and had nothing to say when Meyer's kids were getting arrested at a 10:1 rate compared to LSU players...

So, what does Doyle want? Every time an 18/19 year old kid hits someone, mouths off, makes a bad grade, gets accused of drug use, gets a traffic ticket, stays out too late, that Miles should summarily kick that player off the team. No hearing, no investigation, no time. Someone calls and says, "hey Miles, your player was stopped by the police last night and spent the night in jail," According to the dipwad that wrote the column, he should not take ANY time to investigate, get the everyone's version of events, he should just kick the player off the team. Hogwash. Miles should not handle it that way, no coach handles it that way, and neither would the self-righteous Doyle. Everyone deserves to at least be heard, regardless of how long it takes.

Having said that, it does not look good for Hill. I would not advocate keeping him on the team if the video is self-evidently true, and it remained so after all the facts were in, not the least of which is police report. It must be nice to be this writer, who evidently has NEVER had to ask for or been afforded a second chance. Believe me, I am not a bleeding heart, but I do believe, that people are capable of change when hard lessons come to bear. Good luck to Hill. This may be his hardest lesson. But, I hope he salvages his future and contributes positively in his life. As for Doyle, not sure he is salvageable.
