Damn, LSU is 9-1 in night games on the road during the Les Miles era. It may be less than .500 during the day.
It really sucks that the game is during the day.......not to mention, I may have to kill myself if I have to sit and listen to those bumbling, incompetent, self-satisfied, LSU-hating, smug, idiots on CBS. The short little tubby pile of lard is senile and doesn't know what he's talking about 99% of the time and the Ichabod Crane dip**** never has anything positive to say about LSU. I hate games on CBS!!!!
My fear as well...not a great day game performing team.....yes, sounds superstitious but day games on CBS hasn't been LSU's best games.
Guys, this was going to happen sooner or later this season. Time for us to put this stupid superstition to bed, I don't care what the record is. For God's aake, this isn't baseball. Besides, we get the benefit of Arkansas softening them up this week.
I don't believe in superstition and this certainly isn't superstition. I think it's just psyche. We don't get up for these games the same way during the day as we do at night. There is definitely some validity to the day and night records of LSU in the past 10 years.
This game could be for the driver's seat in the West. If that doesn't get the team up then I don't know what would.
Yep, me too. At least whenever Alabama's on CBS (which seems to be all the time), I can mute the TV and listen to Eli Gold on the radio. I wish there was a radio station up here that would broadcast LSU games! :geaux:
CBS picks first, don't they? They tend to pick the "best" game they can, so when LSU is one of the teams, the opponent tends to be better as well. That may very well explain any differences in win/loss records of day games vs. night games.
