Was it just me or was it complete silence? Until Vern got so giddy about Ford stepping out of bounds.
Yeah there were instances of Vern showing his bias. When Reid got the interception, he yelled "Oh no!" in a most distressful voice. It was as if you were listening to the Bama radio broadcast. I mean is that something to say? The normal commentator exclaims "wow, what a play by Reid, he may have just saved the game for LSU!" And then Danielson claiming Dre Kirkpatrick with a phenomenal play on Reuben Randle in the endzone and thinking it was Randle who had an offensive PI. Then they watch the replay and Danielson looks foolish and admits it was obvious PI on Kirkpatrick. These guys used to be good but their level of competence and fair telecasting has waned greatly over the last few years. Verne makes a couple of huge gaffes every single game he does these days. And Danielson can't hide his biases like he used to.
Reading through the Bama forums, there are some complaints how the CBS guys are biased against Bama... And reading here, some LSU fans complain how they're biased against LSU... My conclusion is that they are unbiased.
I don't know, a certain LSU running back (cough * Spencer Ware * cough) is not in the same class as Trent Richardson. :rolleye33: :geauxtige
They have become an absolute joke, and their favoritism for bama is both glaringly obvious and nausiating. I cannot stand them, would not piss on them if they were on fire.
