Really, just on that list there are 5 teams that I don't think LSU can beat, 5 I think they can beat on any given day and 5 that would give LSU fits down to the last play.
I don't think there is any team LSU can't beat. But would they is the bigger question. This defense is just terrible. Malveto is laughing somewhere. The sad part is this offense is 1000 times better than the 2008 one and we could still end up with the same record. Here is an interesting question, if LSU loses a bowl game this year, that's 3 straight bowl losses. What then? That's not good, twice LSU has lost 3 consecutive bowl games in 3 consecutive years. 1935 TCU, 1936 Santa Clara and 1937 Santa Clara. 1984 Nebraska, 1985 Baylor, 1986 Nebraska. We get into uncharted territory if we lose a bowl game for the 4th conectutive season. I don't agree with people who say get rid of Miles, but I do agree he's gotta do better in big games. And if we do have a few or more consecutive 8 win seasons with bowl losses and losses to Alabama, that seat will definitely get hot.
If that were to happen, Miles would be in the same situation Lloyd Carr was in at Michigan. Won an NC early, struggled to maintain early success, lost multiple bowl games, and never could beat Ohio State. Must be a Michigan man thing...And they haven't been the same since they got rid of him.
