Gary Danielson thought LSU should punt the football with 7 minutes to go, down 3 scores. I hope he never does another LSU Football game.

He mentioned punting with 8:00 minutes left when we were down 15 and were facing 4th and forever. I believe Mr. Danielson was right -- dumb call by Miles. I think the only time we had the ball being down more than two scores was our last drive when JJ threw that pick.

I suppose getting a sack on 4th and 23 was a better option?

Exactly right. We should have punted and pinned them deep. Instead we gave them the ball in our end which resulted in them pushing the lead to 3 scores.

I was screaming at the TV with about 11 or so minutes left in the 4th when Miles actually thought about going for it from our 20! I couldnt believe he was even considering it. :insane:

Brando and Tillman are good in the studio; the guy I can't stand is Barnhart from the Atlanta paper. He seems more anti-LSU than the other knuckleheads (Lundquist and Danielson).

Scroo CBS. The one silver lining in this disappointing season, hopefully, is a return to more traditional Saturday night games in TS next season. Scroo all these day games. I am all about the tradition, man!

If USC was on CBS and they were embarrassed 3 out of the 4 times they played on their network, and the announcers were laughing about it, we'd all be glad to see it. There's nothing new about Lundquist's bias. Big deal.

We played poorly consitstently in front of a national audience after an exciting 2007 season. We're not the only ones who are disappointed.

Next year, we can shut 'em up again if the right desicions are made.

Yes. You & Gary Danielson would have punted the ball from the Ole Miss 48, watched the ball bounce into the endzone. 1st & 10 at the 20 yard line. We would have gotten a wopping 28 yards out of the entire thing.

They were up by 15 points. That is 3 scores. What good is pinning them back if we aren't stopping them?

Why? LSU needed 3 scores & weren't moving the Football. I want my coach to actually try & win in. Obviously you don't feel that way. I've seen former LSU coaches punt their way to losses & don't ever want to see that again.
