    After the 6 minute commercial break for the end of the 3rd quarter, Ole Miss punted with 14:15 left in the 4th. There was a commercial break. LSU's drive ended with 11:45, or so, left. Another commercial.

    ESPN is so much better about not interrupting the flow of the game.

    CBS doesnt control the commercials. The SEC does.

    As I understand it, CBS still gets its game, but all other games will be on an ESPN station and/or ABC.

    During negotiations when the SEC says we want 50 million dollars, CBS is going to say, "we have to have this many commercials." The SEC has all the power in the world to move that dollar figure up and down.

    CBS does the Masters too and they are live for 56 minutes out of every hour.

    It is still the same process. Difference is ESPN gets the Raycom game and has more nighttime options.
